artist's statement
From my earliest memory, I have always been drawn (no pun intented) to art. The way things look. The light, the color, and the texture of any given subject holds an appeal that can often be difficult to describe.
However, after many years of observing and recreating what I see and feel, I know that I am on this earth to create.
For me, art is not only a means to an end or a career. It does, for me embody life itself. Although accomplished at many painting, drawing and decorative painting techniques, I never take for granted this ability I have been given. For it is with tremendous gratitude that I use this gift to create joy, happiness, and and a greater awareness of the blessings we each hold within us.
